Frances is responsible for the overall running of the LAC. She is the module convenor for the two LAC modules; The Practice of Law in a Clinical Environment and Street Law. Frances is a practising barrister of ten years call and an associate member of 15 New Bridge Street Chambers. She has a particular interest in criminal law and image based sexual abuse. Frances is also a trustee of the Clinical Legal Education Organisation.
Matthew is responsibile for developing and maintaining externals relations between the Legal Advice Centre and the Legal Profession. He is always interested to hear from any organisations wishing to develop links with the Centre or the Law Department. He is a practising solicitor and also works part time as the Director of the AIRE Centre.
Kelli acts as the liaison between the clients and the Student Advisers, as well as between the Supervisors and the Student Advisers. It is her role to ensure that the daily administration of the LAC client appointments are effectively and efficiently coordinated.
Rachael is responsible for coordinating the Community Projects and Collaborative Projects which the LAC run. These include Street Law Projects like SPITE for Schools, and other collaborations such as The Freedom Law Clinic and our collaboration with Z2K. She coordinates and implements any new projects that the LAC undertakes, including the development of new ideas and areas of interest for the LAC.
Rumina provides assistance to the LAC Coordinators. She helps deal with client enquiries, booking client appointments into the Centre and signposting clients where we are unable to assist. Rumina also helps our students with their day-to-day questions and monitors our client feedback.
Korina provides assistance to the LAC Coordinators. As well as dealing with client enquiries Korina leads student reflection sessions (known as Breakfast Club) and proof reads client letters with students.
