The Legal Advice Centre were delighted to receive a President and Principle Excellence Prize in recognition of the teaching and learning which they undertake within the Law Department. They were one of only four recipients at the University to receive this prominent award. When recognising the Legal Advice Centre Professor Colin Bailey (QM Principal and President) noted the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm of the staff, lawyers and students that he had seen when he visited to the Centre. He also noted how many clients the Centre was reaching each year with its valuable work within our local community.
The Law Department wishes to extend its deepest thanks to the wonderful volunteer supervising barristers and solicitors who donate their time and expertise.
